HERBAL VEGGIE BROTH FOR ADDED NUTRIENTS

 

MUSHROOMS- maitake, chaga, shiitake, and reishi

ASTRAGALUS

NETTLES
BULL KELP

ONION
CELERY

GINGER
GARLIC

PEPPERCORNS
Apple cider vinegar


Simmer on low heat for three to four hours with lid on. Then add in the following items and continue to simmer covered for another hour.


GARDEN HERBS (oregano, rosemary, sage, thyme, bay, and basil)

VEGGIE SCRAPS (we save throughout the week in a freezer bag)

CALENDULA

SCHISANDRA BERRIES


Strain and press. Store in the fridge and use throughout the week in soups, stews, to steam with, cook rice in, add to sauces, etc. For additional vitamins, minerals, and to help keep the immune system strong!
