 OJAS TONIC

According to Ayurveda- our physical, mental, and spiritual strength is dependent on the subtle energy force referred to as ojas. Ojas maintains our physical body and its rhythms with nature, provides a strong and vibrant immune system, and transmits energy from mind to body. This vital energy can be supported by aligning lifestyle and diet with the seasons and avoiding over-activating substances and activities. Savor the sweetness of life, turn within, rest, and be nourished.

This rejuvenative recipe has been adapted from a traditional Ayurvedic remedy intended to strengthen ojas and promote deep nourishment.

 

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 c non-dairy or raw dairy milk

5 almonds, soaked overnight, peeled and rinsed

1/2-1 medjool dates, pitted

1 tsp ghee

A pinch of cardamom

A pinch of cinnamon

A pinch of ginger

⅛ tsp ashwagandha

A dash of clove

1 dropperful of The Giving Tree CBD

 

DIRECTIONS

Heat all ingredients except The Giving Tree CBD in saucepan until warm. Place all of the ingredients in a high powered blender along with one dropper full of The Giving Tree, blend until frothy and smooth.

 

Option: Add a pinch of nutmeg if drinking at night, to promote sound sleep.
